Guide
TL;DR- Alli is very mobile and has the potential to oneshot squishy enemies with all her attacks.
- Her kit revolves around her leap-attack in bushes (or water), so Speed Gear is a must imo.
- Shield & Damage are both viable gears.
- Use Gadget for scouting or preparing all-ins.
- Star Power gives her more combat power & utility since her ammo can be used for both.
- Ultimate allows her to oneshot even tanks, and her fastest combo is leap - dash - leap.
- She's a strong duelist in bushes and can even wipe teams when they're grouped.
- Hypercharge is optional, not mandatory.
- Please avoid her on open maps, as her effectiveness drops significantly when you do so.
- Upvote this stuff fam it took me quite some time to make :)IN-DEPTH COMMENTARYAlli is an Assassin Brawler that can grow into a monster depending on the environment of the map. On flat ground (grass), she's quickly frankly a worse version of Mortis. Like him, she has a dash as her main attack, but she has less range, less health, less movespeed & no healing on her super. However, when you find her in a bush or in the water, she turns into a completely different beast and her main attack upgrades to a leap that's simply a better version of Mico. This leap is the cornerstone of her entire kit! It scales with movement speed, so that's why we pick Speed Gear 1st as a non-negotiable. The faster she is, the further she leaps!I prefer shield as the second gear because she generally likes to play patiently until her enemies are out of position or below 50% hp so she can finish them off with her enrage mechanic. This is because her reload is a little slow and she generally needs 3 or more attacks to oneshot opponents. Damage gear is also viable if you find yourself against brawlers that are just barely outside your kill range OR if they have little kill threat on you whether you use shield or not. Shield Gear second is also viable because she sometimes likes to play patiently until her enemies are either out of position or below 50% hp so she can finish them off with her enrage mechanic. However, after experimenting with both, right now I prefer Damage as the second Gear in order to bypass certain health thresholds that make opponents survive with extremely low hp. This is because her reload is a little slow and she generally needs 3 or more attacks to oneshot opponents. Damage gear gives you that extra bit of damage on your last attacks so you can focus on getting out with the extra ammo rather than overcommitting. Her gadget combined with her Star Power completely lets her bypass all of this, however. With her gadget, she's immediately put into enrage mode for 4 seconds, giving her the movement speed that she so desires while the Star Power adds some reload speed onto that as long as she's enraged. On top of this, her gadget also allows her to get vision on all enemies in sight. Even if they're hiding in bushes, you know their exact positions. Use this to your advantage by scouting! Her ultimate's stealth is a little awkward to use in open spaces, but it's great for moving from bush to bush to set up a trap. Her ultimate also gives her the potential to oneshot tanks for 25% of their current hp, so use the first attack after ultimate as your opening move to delete almost any Brawler in the game!As for 1v1s, she can win almost any duel in the bushes by strategically dodging your opponent's attacks with your leap. Some brawlers are too tanky to oneshot, so you'll need your ultimate for that. In those cases, you can use 1-2 attacks on them for ult charge, then use your last attacks to run away as you prepare to face them again later. When she lands an ult-empowered attack as her first hit, she can duel just about any brawler in the game. Especially when she gets to leap on them from the bush afterwards.Ironically, I've found that the best place for Alli to have a duel is slightly OUTSIDE of a bush. Triple leap makes her almost completley invulnerable, but it's also easier to react to for her opponents. Her best & fastest combo is leap - swipe - leap. You start off by leaping on them, then you hit them while you dash back into the bush, and you cancel that dash by leaping on them again for the finish. She gains ult after 4 attacks, so you're often stuck at 99% ult charge after assassinating a single target. For this reason, you can sometimes also use attack - ultimate + attack - attack to oneshot tankier targets who would survive otherwise.Hypercharge grants her all the damage and survivability in the world, so you can wipe entire teams if they're grouped up without too much CC/burst damage. That being said, it's completely optional and the character is perfectly playable without it.As for game modes, she's quite flexible since her kit revolves mainly around map environment, rather than objectives. I'll go more in-depth in the Mode section tho. That was a lot of information so I'll drop a tldr up top. If you've read the entire thing, thank you and don't forget to upvote!
Game Modes
Gem Grab
TL;DR- Hold only a few gems, if any. you'll be in danger a lot.
- Pressure enemy through bushes, punish if they get too close.
- Assassinate the gem carrier in the late game for a big swing.
- Can use leaps and ult to carry gems and win the game once counting starts.IN-DEPTHShe wants to find herself on maps like Double Swoosh, Gem Fort, Undermine, etc.She excels at controlling the middle by pressuring opponents through flanks in the bushes. She tends to take quite some damage when engaging, so don't be the primary gem carrier for your team.Preferably, hold 0 gems. But if that's impossible, try to keep it anywhere between 1-3.Her ultimate allows her to oneshot just about anyone in the game. On top of that, she can also use it to escape after assassinations. Her job is to maintain control of the map, but she can also make insane comeback plays.Due to the nature of her playstyle, she has an easy time taking out the primary gem carrier on the enemy team. This is where she shines, and she can use her ultimate and bush jumps to escape if she holds all the gems in the end.
Duo Showdown
TL;DR- Water and bushes are both huge power spikes.
- Farm power in the early game.
- Passive lets you 3rd-party from across the map, so use Gadget to scout or commit.IN-DEPTHShe's completely bonkers on maps like Acid Lakes, Feast or Famine, Cavern Churn, etc. Any maps that offers plenty of bushes, water & walls will make her very strong. As per usual, you want to spend the early game farming as many boxes as possible. You probably won't be getting any kills unless you get the jump on someone, but it's okay to hit them once and run away to charge ult over time if that's possible. Her gadget lets you see the position of all opponents around you and her enrage passive will tell you where the fights are happening so you can 3rd-party when people get low.TIP: IF YOU ARE ENRAGED, THE FOOTPRINTS ON THE GROUND WILL TELL YOU WHERE THE LOW HEALTH OPPONENT IS HIDING. EVEN IF THEY ARE FAR AWAY ENOUGH TO BE OUTSIDE OF YOUR SCREEN!
Brawl Ball
TL;DR- Passive movespeed and mobility on attack gives her insane scoring potential.
- Finish opponents off once they're poked below 50% health.
- Score fast to avoid overtime, extremely bad there.IN-DEPTHThere's lots of good maps for her in this game mode. Stuff such as Center Stage, Beach Ball, Pinball Dreams, etc. These maps let her easily play to her strengths around bushes. You don't even have to commit to the fight in order to win, since she could always just jump on the ball and look for a cheesy goal by using her mobility. She is especially good at scoring solo goals when she is enraged, since she gets quick reload speed to push forward while also having an insane amount of movement speed which makes it hard for her opponents to catch up to her.her dash makes her great at goalkeeping from a distance and she becomes a deadly part of the clean-up crew when opponents are poked to below 50% hp when she's close enough to capitalize. That being said, please do make sure to play to her strengths by scoring quickly and trying to end games swiftly, since her effectiveness drops massively if the game ends up going to overtime.
Brawl Arena
TL;DR- Play in the jungle, soak XP from lanes.
- Use ultimate to push turrets or kill monsters if you don't need it for kills.
- Pick Health Recovery Gear unless you have a dedicated healer.
- Prioritize list goes as follows: Kills - Lane Farm - MonstersIN-DEPTHShe's an amazing jungler when given the opportunity to fight in bushes.
Her ganks are strong and unless you're facing a tanky brawler, you will likely destroy your opponents in 3-4 attacks early game.Use your super and hypercharge to kill the 4-monster camp quickly.
You might have to do 2 at a time instead of 4 at once, so don't try to force it. Make sure to pick off atleast 1 or 2 enemies before attempting to challenge the big monster camps.Your ultimate deals 10.000 bonus damage against Kaiju and structures, so don't be afraid to use it in order to secure objectives. If you jungle properly, you'll be so ahead in XP that you usually won't need ult for kills anyways.Try to soak XP between both lanes while going around the map killing stray opponents and farming monsters whenever you can. Stay away from the enemy minions when you're in your ultimate, since they reveal you if you get too close. Here I would recommend using Health Recovery as Second Gear instead of Shield.Unless you have a healer on your team, you'll need to heal efficiently so you can stay active on the map. She has good waveclear in the lanes, but due to the nature of her main attack, she tends to take quite some damage from monsters. She also tends to take a good amount of damage when fighting outside of bushes, so this gear massively reduces your downtime between fights! As for what to prioritize in what order, she's extremely strong in the bushes so you'll want to look for kills either in the jungle or by ganking the lanes. After that, you'll want to push out the lanes so the enemies are stuck under their turret. Once that's done, you farm the monsters safely since they will damage you back so you don't want to be contested when you do them. She's great at stealing them tho!Kaiju deals some serious damage to you, so only start it when you're extremely ahead and you've killed 2-3 enemies. Use her ultimate to secure the objective with a big burst of damage. Preferably you've got at least 1 teammate helping you.The Kaiju buff is amazing for her tho. The extra movement speed from the buff along with Speed Gear makes her leap extremely long-ranged!
Works Well With
Rosa
Pretty niche strategy, but Rosa can spawn bushes for you to jump from and she herself can position in a way that forces your opponents to play around the bushes that you're in.This also makes Alli extremely deadly in Hot Zone! She usually has trouble staying inside of the zone because she lacks sustain and options when she's in there, but Rosa's bushes completely fix that issue.
